Buna!

EN:

Better Than Sex Mascara, when you hear this name you expect something extraordinary, right? Too Faced is known for they cute names and even for the more inappropiate ones, and they only bring more atention to their products.

Lashes are one of the focus elements when it comes to makeup or the lack of it. I like haveing really long lashes no matter how much makeup I wear, and actually, I can have no makeup but I have to have long lashes, I have a mini version of this mascara, that I got in a really cute kit (i showed it here with the first impressions). Still why am I here with a review after those first impressions? My oppinion changed a bit, and also the way I apply it and I cam to a different conclusion.

Initially I thought it was not that awesome and I thre it on some corner and just left it there. Recently I decided to pu aside my waterproof mascara for various reasons. I decided it would be a shame to let it go to waste so I started using it. So for a few weeks Better Than Sex Mascara has been my favourite one. Why? Because it give me so much volume, some lenght too, but the volume is what gives such high impact. So why I didn't like it at first and bnow I do? I found out how to apply it.

First of all I would highly recommend that before applying the mascara, wipe the excess on the brush, most of the times you'll see that there is too much product on so that's why it get's clumpy. I start the application at the root of the lashes and then I ounly bulid up the lenghts. I apply I good cost and then let it dry. I have previously curled my lashes with an eyelash curler. After it's all dry, meanwhile i've done my eyebrows or something, I curl the lashes again and then I apply another coat of mascara, let it dry and curl again. Usually the two coats give mea really thick and long lashes and the curls is held pretty well compared to other mascaras that I have.

EN:
The only thing that I don't really like is the price. It's true is a very good product, but I think it is a bit expensive and you can get similar effects with other mascaras at a smaller price, But if you do wabnt a good mascara and you don't mind the price all I can say is that it gives a beautiful effect to our eyes and I really enjoy using it, I hope it will last me a while.

Voi l-ati incercat? Care este mascara voastra preferata?
Have you tried it? Which is your favourite mascara?

1.What is your favourite drugstore makeup brand overall?

It is hard to make a decision, becuase there are brands that I only like a few products from, or I haven't tried many. Probably I have the most from Essence as they are cheap and easy to get bunches, and honestly they have pretty good eyeshadows, lispticks and lipglosses. If I need a beand to provide me a base too, then I might go for Rimmel, even though they do have some products that I can't stand, but that applies to almost every brand.

2.What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?

Rimmel Lasting Finnish aplicat cum trebuie arata extrem de natural si are o acoperire chiar buna (daca vreti detalii la capitolul asta, let me know!).

Well, when t comes to foundation I hane not yet to find the perfect one, but I like the Rimmel Lasting Finnish quite a lot. Although the perfect texture and color are all wrapped into Accord Parfait for L'Oreal, this one offers me a better lasting power. One thing is clear, with foundation there are three things that are really imprtant, the color, the skin type and the application, the last one being essential. Rimmel Lasting Finnish applied in the best way gives a very nice natural finnish and a really good coverage(if you want more details, let me know). For my cheeks I love my blush from Yves Rocher in Teint Clair Rose and for my lips, even though I mostly wear nothing, I will go for XXXL longlasting from Essence and Soft Matte Lipcream from NYX.

3. Least favourite product?

Products I regret buying will answer this question but another mention will be the Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascaras (all of them). I think they are horrible both in formula and applicators and Maybelline and L'Oreal do much better ones.

4. What is the best makeup bargain?

I think I'll go for the Sleek eyeshadow palettes and blushes. To be honest their shadows are really pigmented and act quite similar to my Too Faced ones or The Balm, and the shades are beautiful.

5.What is your favourite underdog product?

I had to think a bit more about this one, but there are these palettes caled Ruby Rose that are extremly cheap and they have amazing colors with great pigmentation, and now they can be found matte too, not only the shimmery ones.

6. A drugstore product that is overpriced.

I am going towards a brand here, L'Oreal. I think that their prices are quite high, and to be honest I don't think that a gloss or a mascara deserves that price being drugstore, even though they do have amazing quality. I would also mention Burjois, which also has quite big prices and i don't think that all the products desreve that price range.

7. Show your best drugstore dupe!

I don't have dupes in my collection, because I am always on the hunt for something new and different but I do have some brown sades in my Sleek palette that look really similar to the ones in my Balm Jovi palette.

8. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?

From my point of view Maybelline Color Tattos are not as awesome as everybody says. They don't last without a base only on dry or normal skin, so if you have oily lids like me, you do need it to keep them in place.

Acum randul meu pentru tag: Gabriela, Andreea, Mihaella

I often look at myself in the mirror and all I can see is a pair of tired eyes trying to stay open for a new day, or for a few more hours. A tired girl, heavy lids, messy hair and with a deep desire of going back to bed. Yes, that's me in most days, and after all that I need some time for myself. And you, you should do the same.

I think that in our busy lives we forget to look a bit after ourselves, to look at our reflection and see that we need a break. We need some time off, relax a bit, sleep a bit better, have a nice cup of tea and a good book. I don't know about you, but I do enjoy a good book and a cup of tea, just let myself go with the story. I mostly prefer books that give me a certain feeling and books that can make me relate with at least one of the characters. So right now I have my book at my right, a good cup of tea on the table and some nice thoughts for you.

Time is not much of a friend latley, and that for most of us. We work, we study, we're tired. How to disconnect? I have my methods and I want to share them with you, and also I want you to share your methods with me. I told you about how to distress and relax a while back, but now I want you to see things a bit different. I am not talking abot stress, about all the negative things that affect our lives, I am talking about the general state that we have after a long full week, when a 20 hour sleep sounds like the best thing in the world. Some prefer movies, I have no patience for that. Some enjoy music, and I do too, but particular songs or artists, my favourite one this end of the week (and of all times) is Ludivico Einaudi, pianist. I find myself so... I don't even know how to explain it. I just love the songs, and the piano is one of my favourite instruments, and he is pure genius. It's usually I giorni in the background and me with a cup of tea, and maybe a blog post, one of my ways to disconnect from work and college. He has a song for every mood that I might have, so he is always my first choice if I am going for piano that day.

Books are one of my favourite ways to disconnect from the whole world, and if I had to recommend some, I might just tell you what I've been reading recently: If I Stay and Where She Went by Gayle Forman, the second one is in progress. I love the books, the first one is awesome, written in a lovely way, and such a good read. The second one, well, I enjoy every little word, I can find myself in Adam quite a lot I must say. Another Author that I like is Nicholas Sparks, I read most of his books, refused to see the movie for some. Why? Because I created such a beautiful story in my mind and I had way higher expectations, so, no, no movie,

I actually do enjoy a bit of time on my own, a bit of time for me, some time to enjoy and to feel like I can recharge for the next round of full days and neverending hours, that still fly by so quickly.

So, what do you do to disconnect? What books do you read? What music do you like?
