Alimentatia este atat de importanta, dar atat, atat de importanta. Oboseala si lipsa de energie sunt accentuate de o alimentatie dezechilibrata, si sunt sigura ca nu vreti sa fiti lipsiti de enerigie, nu? Astazi vreau sa va propun o reteta simpla, vegana, sanatoasa, rapida si delicioasa, perfecta pentru micul dejun.

Semintele de  chia sunt un superaliment. Este o susrsa excelenta de Calciu, antioxidanti, fier, proteine si potasiu. Daca le priviti doar, arata ca niste seminte de mac, totusi partea care le face interesante pentru mine este faptul ca odata puse in lichid, acestea vor incepe sa il absoarba si vor capata o consistenta aprate, usor gelationoasa, pastrand totusi si partea aceea crocanta. Intital nu stiam daca o sa imi placa sau daca budinca facuta din aceste seminte e chiar buna, dar mie imi place, mai ales in aceasta combiatie, dar va voi mai da inca o idee de a o face si mai buna.

Today I want to show you what I''ve been having as a breakfast lately, simple vegan and really healthy.

Chia seeds are amazing. They are an awesome source of calcium, antioxidants, iron, proteins and potassium. They look a bit like poppy seeds, but what makes them interesing is the fact that they absor liquid and transform into a very interesting gel- like texture with a bit of crunch.





What do you need?

+ chia seeds 3tbsp
+ coconut milk (can be exchanged with almond or rice milk)
+ vanilla extract
+optional: hazelnut butter and some fruit for decoration

How to prepare it?

E atat de usor pe cat se poate, si asta il face micul dejun perfect,, iar totul incepe cu o seara inainte. Aveti nevoie de un borcanel si o lingura si iata ce aveti de facut. Adaugati cam trei liinguri dde seminte in borcanel si de doua ori volumul de lichid fata de cel de seminte. Amestecati si adaugati putin extract de vanilie si niste unt de alune de padure (eu nu mai am ca l-am terminat ieri ). Amestecati, amestecati si iar amestecati, puneti capcelul si il lasati in frigider peste noapte.

Il puteti prepara si dimineata daca aveti timp, il puteti tine in frigider vreo 20 de minute si va fi la fel de bun, eu prefer sa il fac peste noapte pentru ca nu prea am timp dimineata.

It is as easy as it can get and what makes it perfect for breakfast is the fact that everything starts the night before. So get yourself a jar and a spoon and here is what you have to do. Add about three tablespoons of chia seeds in the jar and add double the volume of coconut milk on top. Mix it all in and add a bit of vanilla extract and some hazelnut butter (I didn't have any left cause I finished yesterday). Mix, mix, mix, put the lid on and put it in the fridge overnight. 

Now this is not really necessary to do overnight, you can let it sit for 20 mins in the fridge too, and it will absorb the milk as well, I just prefer to leave it over night.

This particular breakfast is one of my favourites, is delicious and keeps you full for quite a while so you won't end up hungry again in about an hour.

    Consum lapte de cocos și semințe de chia de o vreme bună și sunt încrezătoare că voi considera gustoasă această budincă.

  2. Nu am incercat niciodata seminte de chia, dar am incercat laptele de cocos, si doamne nu mi-a placut deloc.cel de la alpro l.am incercat si nu mi-amai trebuit. in schimb imi place cel de soia.:P chiar sunt curioasa de semintele de chia. pup:)
